Scil Technology GmbH is a privately held biopharmaceutical development company evolved from the Scil Group in 2003. The Scil Group was founded by Dr. Stefan Engelhorn in 1999. The mission of Scil Technology is to develop new products for orthopaedic and dental tissue regeneration to improve the quality of patients’ lives. The Company employs unique proprietary technologies and highly sophisticated processes, which enable its dedicated team to accelerate product development from the design phase through Pre-clinical and Clinical Development up to approval by Regulatory Authorities.

MD05-I – bone regeneration in dental implantology
MD05-P – bone and periodontal tissue regeneration in surgical periodontitis
MD06 – activated dental implant for use in dental implantation sites
MD08 – regeneration of the periodontal attachment apparatus

In March 2008, Scil Technology entered into a Development and License Agreement with Medtronic, Inc., covering Scil Technology’s entire dental programme.
